Make up little things to help you remember. Like for example, when I was studying for my last test, I had to remember 4 medications used to treat CHF--Beta blockers, ACE inhibitors, Nitrates, and Diuretics. So I told myself that the 'BAND' has CHF. Also I use alot of mneumonic devices to remember things...Example: "BIRDSBB" to remember the muscles present at a C5 spinal cord injury: biceps, infraspinatus, rhomboids, deltoids, etc....
Just make up things that mean something to you and you will remember it alot better.

Try associating the material with the questions somehow just by using silly visuals. It doesn't seem too fancy, but using simple visualization works. For example: to remember that Oranges contain vitamin C, imagine oranges arranged to make the letter C. The hard part is coming up with a good visual.

Try to form connections with other things you have learned or remember. Create a story out of what you are trying to memorize.
Review before you go to sleep or take a nap as the brain tends to organize your memories while you sleep.

FFLASHCARDS FLASHCARD FLASHCARDS--- IF YOU TAKE AND ORGANIZE YOUR NOTES ND THEN REWRITE THE IMPORTANT THINGS(THE BOLD PRINTED THINGS OR THE STUFF THAT THE TEACHER EMPHASIZED AS NOTEWORTHY) PUT THE QUESTION ON THE FRONT AND THEN THE ANSWER ON THE BACK... DO THAT FOR ALL OF UR NOTES. tHIS IS SO HELPFUL BECAUSE EVERYTIME U WRITE SOMETHING IT HELPS YOU REMEMBER IT. ALSO NOW YOUR STUDY MATERIALS ARE SO COMPACT U CAN STUDY ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE BY JUST TAKING UR CARDS EVERY WHERE AND U CAN TEST URSELF W/O CHEATING... READ THE QUESTION, ANSWER IT OUT LOUD , TO URSELF, OR WRITE IT DOWN THEN TURN THE CARD OVER SEE IF U GOT IT RIGHT .... STUDY STUDY STUDY.... GOOD LUCK

Outline the important information. Use different color inks. Make it visually striking. it will help you remember which information is in what category. Then spend the res of your study time going over that outline and solidifying those connections in your mind.
