All this baby naming has got me thinking about what I would like to name my next child(later on down the road). Here are some names I like...

I have actually like this name for some time now and was naming my first child that if it turned out to be a boy, but have have a beautiful Vanessa kay (named after her grandma)

They are all great names (maybe you need to have a lot of kids... lol!)

Here are some general suggestions for choosign a baby name:

1. The number of syllables in the first name should differ from the last name. For instance, Andre Gray flows better than Tom Gray.

2. If you have a common or easy-to-pronounce last name (i.e. Smith, Jones, Brown), from the list of baby names you are considering, choose an unusual or long first name that complements the last name nicely. As one web visitor suggested, a long or unusual first name can spice up the sound of the whole darn thing, i.e. Dakota Smith, Lucinda Brown and Sharona Flynn.

3. Make sure the initials don't spell an word you wouldn't want to carry around the rest of your life.

4. Think about what nicknames may come from the name you pick.

How about something more original? The whole Jordyn Mikayla is ok but so overused. Mariah is a little better and Brayden Marcus is refreshing.

I never really liked Mikayla or any of its variants. I like the name Jordyn but I'd add another 'n'. I think the name Amya is beautiful as a matter of fact, Jordynn or (Jordyn) Amya sounds nice. Mariah is nice too, but I'm not a huge fan. It's a difficult name to find a middle name for. As for the boy name you have listed, I like it. Peyton is nice as well. In my opinion it rolls off the tongue nicer Peyton Marcus. Whatever you decide on is going to nice. They are all great names whether other people like them or not.

I love Mariah. Also Jordyn Mikayla is OK. I like your boys name, but I'd have to say I like Marcus better then Brayden. Very cute though.

Amya and Jordyn are ok, but I can't stand Mikayla and Mariah, and I don't care for Brayden, either.

My suggestion is to not use names that everyone else does, like Mikayla. It's very overused.

There are millions of other names out there that you can give your child so that he or she is not one of a dozen in class with the same name.

I love Jordyn Mikayla and I like Brayden, but dont like Marcus to well. I like Alexander and Taylor for middle names though and I think they both flow well with Brayden

I like all the names except for Mikayla. Brayden Marcus is really cute. I also really wish parents would just name their kids after regular names, for example; like Jordon or Jordan instead of Jordyn...but I do like the name.
