The American Revolution brought about the ideals of revolution and democracy throughout the world. Examples are: the French Revolution, the revolutions in South America, and the Revolutions of both 1830 and 1848 in Europe.

Before the American Revolution there were a lot of monarchies and then the american colonies started rebelling and won their independence against the british (Britain was the most powerful empire at that time) and this encouraged other revoltions to take place - the greatest one being the French Revolution. This was the period when the world started to end most of it's monarchies in favor of more democratic governments.
