I let things slide because I believe in the saying, "What goes around, comes around".

I dislike revenge in all but the most dire situations!
I prefer to solve problems amicably if at all possible.
In the rare, rare event, I have enjoyed a bit of well deserved revenge but even then, still regretted it later!!
In the VAST majority of instances the "let it slide off" technique is best!!

I try to let it slide off...most of the time it's not worth the time or energy. If it is something deeper, then the best revenge is happiness, success, and good health...all the while, showing that you can go on with your life.

If you let it slide off your back then it'll more than likely bother the other person more and thats the sweetest revenge.

About 90% of the time I choose not to get revenge and just let karma come back to the person. Its always worked for me so far.

It depends on if I can escape or not.

Flight or fight.

Sometimes if I can walk away, and just leave, I just do. I have ended relationships and friendships very very abruptly. I have quit jobs and even moved suddenly, to remove myself from situations.

But when I get stuck with someone and circumstances don't let me immediately get away, my natural tendency is to be very vindictive.

I don't like this about myself, so my goal is to stop being that way. I guess my answers are "when I can escape I let things slide off. When cornered, my natural instinct is to fight back."
