Not at all, I am proud of the Dem. candidates for 2008, especially the "African-American", aka Barack Obama. He will make a great president when he wins, you'll see. :o)

great question...and one that i've got pronounced with many over the previous couple of months. As I see it, there desires to be a considerable exchange in the management of the country. The Democrats are the only practicable exchange. So i think of it may nicely be a tad irresponsible for them to signify such radical options for this election. I comprehend i'm not being too politically maximum suitable on the 2d...yet to heck with that. I have not have been given something against Obama or Clinton, and definitely, think of that Obama would be an incredible determination. yet while united statesa. isn't waiting yet for a Black or woman chief, the Dems would be throwing their possibilities away. And that's a lot too considerable a time to be throwing away possibilities...

I say heck no! Gender and race are irrelevant with respect to this. Only the ideas the person brings through creativity and/or managerial skills of hiring good people matter.

That said, I don't think of Hilliary so much of a woman, nor do I believe she is all that much of a Democrat. I think that Dr. Paul (a Republican contender) is more of a Democrat than Hillary.

Unfortunately, gender and race plays a big role in the voting of a president for some people. I definitely think that the Republicans, as a result, have a greater chance in winning the 2008 elections. I guess we will just wait and see what kind of people our country is really made up of, and hopefully, they don't disappoint us.

I think the Dems are making a mistake by having an incompetent half Black, half White running as well as a crooked woman running. Color and gender have nothing to do with it. If Obahama wasn't part Black he wouldn't be running and if Hilarity was a man (?) it wouldn't be running; did you ever think of that?

that's a good point and i think they are making a mistake because all they need to do is run a white christian who wasn't initially for the war in iraq but now wants to kick *** and thinks we should fix the other issues. (education, environment, energy, deficit, healthcare, immigration, corporate cronyism)

Gender nor race has anything to do with it as far as I'm concerned. It's their ideology that is flawed.
