IT cost like freakin a few thousands dollars just to get the paper work and legality to get just one. She wants me to help them get the residency ASAP. I also noticed lately that wehn I refused, she push me out and make me sleep in the SOFA! She even threaten to divorce me if I dont help her! Now Im trap cos if I divorce her, I would lose part of my assets and yet she still retain her green card. Please help me what to do. Im so mad!

She's probably bluffing. Tell her you want a divorce and she will back peddle, and start telling you how much she loves and needs you, maybe a being harsh, but I was scammed by an asian woman and it put me into bankruptcy. Maybe you would be better off losing only part of your assets instead of losing all of them. Just some food for thought.

Why are you mad?Chinese people are raised from birth learning to respect their parents and family. In 3 weeks I am to marry a cool woman from mainland China.I will have a wife and parents and a brother who are Chinese.I will be a member of their family. In Chinese culture the old are honored by the young family members, and honor to ones parents is very important. How could your wife be happy if you don't feel the same way about her parents as she does? She won't be happy because her parents will feel the loss of a daughter rather than the joy and security of gaining a son.
What made my relationship with fiancee lead to marriage was going to China and living with her and her family.I fell in love with them just like I fell in love with my fiancee. After all it was her parents who helped make the woman I love, who she is.These people don't want to use you.Your wife is not trying to use you.She needs you to be an honorable son as she is an honorable daughter. This is a major requirement of most Chinese/Taiwanese wifes. So it is normal that she is upset with you.You have put her in a situation that to her is unbearable.Could you love a woman who would dishonor your parents? If you love her you should give her all your support or plan to lose her.It is her job to take care of her parents in every way she can.A big part of your wife is missing because her family is not with her.It must have crushed her heart to find out her family means nothing to you.
I am sad for you both. And I really don't think she is using you on the basis of of what you have said. It is a difference of culture.Check online. You will find I am right and you really should have known this before you married a Chinese woman. Good luck. SD

You really should see a lawyer, and see if you can get an annulment, based on fraud, that she used you for immigration purposes. Otherwise, get divorced, with a good lawyer who can help you keep as much of your property as possible.

Next time, if you have a "thing" for Asians, check out the Asians who were born here.

Actually I think if you can prove she married you for a green card she will get nothing...You could also get an annulment...Talk to a lawyer. On the other hand she could miss her family and want to be near them, I mean she is thousands of miles away ya know...

You need to look her straight in the eye and confront her with you suspicions. If you discover that she used you and is trying to continue to do so, you need to meet with an attorney whose specialty is immigration or at least one who has a lot of knowledge in the area. It may mean turning her in. Are you willing to do that? That might be the only way to get her green card yanked and keep your share of the assets. You might want to talk with the attorney first. Good luck to you.

What happens if you go to Immigration and tell them you're pretty sure you were manipulated into marrying her? Give them all the evidence you have? Better yet, you may want to consult a lawyer who specializes in Immigration, because you really may not want to get her into trouble--yet. You may find that you have enormous clout just coming home to her with some info in hand that says, "You can lose your green card if we divorce, 'cause you manipulated me into this marriage."

I have no idea if this is the case. But check it out.

Asian families are very close so I'm sure she wants them there sincerely. Does she not work?
If they come to the states they will probably live with you which I think is their custom. It sounds like you're stuck. Either count your losses or make a deal with her that if she works and pays for half of the cost you will help her.Sorry for you.

That wife of yours, gives us Asian women a bad name!! I'm divorced, but despite everything, my ex is pretty much still loaded. He just bought himself a new v8.
Seriously, you should have done a background check before you got hitched. Contact a lawyer-secretly. Protect your assets and don't let her guilt-trip you. Surely you can deport her on the ground of insanity????

Divorce her. She was just using you. You don't need to help her because she had ulterior motives. You may lose the money you spent, but you shouldn't waste any more time on someone who doesn't love you.

Never marry an immigrant. You would be hard pressed to find one who would love you enough to stay in their own country. Tell immigration about all the nonsense she is pulling and don't look back when they send her back to her country. Next time marry one of your own!
