I just bought this NETGEAR router and I set it up on my desktop, but for some odd reason, when I try to use my lap top, it won't connect to the internet. I did everything the disc told me to, but I'm still having issues with it. I could call someone but I refuse to pay 90 dollars to get someone to fix it and the solution is probably right under my nose. So is there a computer savvy person out there who can give me a little more insight on my router problem? Thanks!

i might desire to think of that this labored interior the previous, like the day previous, yet no longer on the instant. be sure the Capslk isn't on. pass into word and be sure the letters you form certainly take place ok. Then turn the router off, wait 30 seconds, turn it on lower back. finally, the gap between you and the router is extremely substantial. If the sign is vulnerable it would desire to no longer connect. pass over close to the router. If none of this works....may be somebody replaced the password.

Check in the router if there are some numbers inside a bracket. Use that as a WEP key. Do that, and you're good to go.

Well are you connected wireless or wired? Make sure that you don't have any IP addresses already setup in the TCP/IP. Need to make sure that your TCP/IP is set for DHCP
