how u tell your mom that ur not doing so good in college and that u want to keep trying?

my mom wants me to come home because it is too much for her to pay for i dont want to come home yet but on the other hand im not doing so well how can i tell her.i dont want to come home but im not doing good.

Explain to her why your not doing well and how you plan to fix it, anything less and you run the problem of her disappointment in you....
