i have a tatoo but but i never thought i would want a piercing. ive been thinking about getting my lip pierced on the side though. Im afraid it will look trashy though. Any thoughts?

i have mine done in the middle & i luv it!!! i have gotten so many comments, because it really suits my appearance & personality!!! my boyfriend luvs it & i`ve had so many guys try to pick me up by sayong "oooh, i`ve never kissed anyone with a piercing...can i kiss u???" i think it looks hot on guys & girls!!! just don`t listen to people who say it looks trashy, because it doesn`t!!!

it looks good on few people but when done right, it'll make you look a bit more edgy (which can be a good thing)
you should consider however that if you plan on getting into a professional field of work, a piercing as obvious as that might turn off employers
and usually the people who look like trailer trash with the piercing, looked like trailer trash before the piercing so that really shouldn't be a deterrent
just do what feels right for you

Yeah, I think girls with pierced lips look trashy, same for guys. Tattoos are hot though.

I like piercings but the lip might be alittle much...My girlfriend got one and when she wanted to take it out it left a mark.....But if that is something you want than go for it!

Yeah it will definatly look trashy. Your mouth is a really sensitive piece of the flesh and I wouldn't put any piercings there.

no it won't look trashy, i like them it would look good on the lower left side of the lip. DON'T LISTEN TO THESE OTHER PEOPLE THEIR PROBABLY OLD FARTS! TAKE THIS FROM A YOUNG PERSON WHO HAS STYLE.

think some more before you go threw with this its not the classyest look on a girl and well yeah just dont go there it is really played out as far as the rebel thing go's and so isnt the girly girl look that is admirable sorry just telling you my opinion

I do not think facial piercings look good on anyone..
go ahead and pierce elsewhere, but leave the natural beauty of your face alone..

definetly don't because you'll regret it later. I know this sounds like something an old boring person would tell you, but when you get older, you definetly don't want stuff hanging from your lip. Picture your grandma or someone with a ring hanging from their lip. bad idea. thats my opinion anyway.

I suppose that it's that girls want to protect themselves from old lechers like me. It's quite an efficient method: one tattoo, or one piercing, and my interest is extinct.
