Some people believe that there are stocks that periodically go from selling for a high price to selling for a low price. If that was true (like expecting a department store to have higher profits and be worth more around Christmas time) then they would buy while the stock price was low (in it low phase) and then sell it when the price went up. Unfortunately they are ignoring many factors that affect stock prices and usually get clobbered by missing the real high and low points of the price.

Stocks go up and down. The bull and bear thing. low phase may be a time to buy. Your risk is that it will go lower. Can you chance it?
