God places you in front of a door. Its locked, but he gives you a key that only you can use nobody else. He tells you that behind the door what you will find will change your life forever. Once the door is opened it can never be closed again, you will have to accept what is given. Something grand could happen that will make your life even better forever, or something terrible that could ruin your life forever. If you walk away from the door and decide not to open it, it will always be there. But if you don't open it, you will never know what is inside. This door will haunt you for the rest of your days unless you do open it, but you can choose not to if you decide you don't want to take the risk.
If you have something against God or something call it fate or forces of nature or whatever.... all of that is not really the point.
The point is... do you open the door?

Yes. But I believe God would know what I would do before he gave me the key. Whatever layed beyond the door I would except because God gave it to me. No matter what it was.

Seems to me that we open that door every day, sometimes many times a day. That each action we take, even each step we make, holds the potential to somehow change our life in some unforseen way. Every decision, no matter how small, changes our course, for good or ill, just a tiny bit...or not a tiny bit. Some paths seem scary while others look smooth and inviting. But you never really know what rewards or pitfalls will be down either one. Either way, the choice is always ours.

Yes. Life is too short to not take risks. Even if it is a bad change it won't neccessarily ruin your life unless you let it. Most bad changes allow for learning and end up good in time. So I would open the door right away... So... is it a good change?

If it was truly God, I'd open the door and trust that God would never play games with me. It would definitely be something good. Anyone or anything else, I'd probably leave it alone.

Yes I would open the door because I know that God would not lead me wrong. If it is something terrible that's behind close doors i know that it is something for me to learn from and have spirtual growth.

WOW,,Do I have a chance to ask ONE question to God? I think if God handed me a key to a door,,I would open it. It's not like the story of Adam and Eve, where he tells you to stay away from one particular door.

God's job is to lead those who trust Him towards the good. It's not a question of whether or not you will open a door but whether or not you decide to follow God.

I don't believe in God anymore... BUT if God came down, knocked on my door and gave me a key...anything God gives me i'm going to accept.
However, if it's some dude dressed up like Jesus...i don't take things from strangers. So no.

yes. it is the chance of a lifetime and there is a 50-50 chance that it could be the best thing in your life. at that point it really has nothing to do with god but rather if you are willing to take a risk and possibly lose everything.
