i'm doing a project for class. where i live is very liberal... so I was wondering if I could get opinions from people that come from small towns or other areas with less cultural diversity. feel free to be as frank as possible, but please be mindful of the language. :)

Well, I not only dated outside of my race, I married outside of my race. I've been married for 3yrs to my wonderful husband who is a wonderful father to our 2 children.
We live in a small town, were there is some prejudice people. This town has come a long way but still has a way to go. People in my own family still have issues with it, but the best part is that my husband hasn't done one thing that they can stero type about him.
You have to live your life for you, what others do is their business, and they live their life you should be able to live yours. Whatever makes you happy within reason, you should go for it! That is my theory anyway.

I'm a Republican, white, southern girl who is really only attracted to other white people and I say there is nothing wrong with dating outside of your race. It makes for pretty babies and an understanding of another heritage. Love conquers all.

I rarely date within my race. I guess that I grew up with Caucasian women, so they lack novelty for me now. Besides, I probably have bad memories of Caucasian girls burned into my sub-conscious from Jr. High and High School (when I was awkward, unpopular, and nerdy) so I probably have a mental block that stops me from asking a white girl out now that I am an adult.

I think its very wrong to date outside of the human race. Only bad things can come of dating something not human.

I don't mind dating out of my race. I've been with african-american, white, asian...to me there is no specific race. It doesn't really matter to me nor my family. It's not like I said one day...oh I think I'll date out of my race. I just have. I've never looked at someone because of their race.

personally, i am only physically attracted to guys of my own race..
but I have no problem if others want to date outside their race..
what you do in your own life is not my business as long as you are not hurting others, and dating outside your race does not hurt anyone..

i dont mind but if i came home with an African American and said he was my bf my aunt (yes i live with my aunt) would almost instantly make me dump him

no color. it about the person. not the color of there skin.
