Some of the slaves went west and started to help with the cattle kingdom and became cowboys. Others migrated to the North to places such as Harlem, this helped spark the Harlem rennesance. But most just stayed in the south and became sharecroppers or tennant farmers

Well, most were discrimated by the South and they even passed Jim Crow Laws saying that blacks had to be seperate but in equal habitats. (Segregation) Most stayed in the North, some in the South, and once there was the so called, "Mining Boom" and "Railroad Boom" they moved West to find gold/jobs. Sorry that I can't give u specific states.

Oh, some did go back to Africa, but most remained in America. (Look up in Google or Wikipedia for "Freedmen's Bureau") U may find info about Africans there.

Some went North to Penn. Most stayed in the south because that was home. Some went West (Go West Young Man)

many went north where they were disliked by poor white factory workers. a lot stayed in the south where they continued to be persicuted and worked as sharecroppers which are essentially slaves.

a few eventually went to liberia which was founded by president monroe for the freed blacks.
