So far, the theory of relativity has yet to be disproven. As time progress with no one disproving it, it may eventually become a law.
One group claims to have disproven it though:

(I don't believe it though)

I assume this is a serious question. Yes, the Special and General Theories of Relativity are considered proven by the scientific community. That particular energy/mass equivalence relation is just one small part of the theories.
The scientific community is also aware that relativity might need refinement based on future discoveries. Perhaps another term or two will need to be added to the equation.
The community is also aware that it might need refinement at the quantum scale. This is an area of intense current interest.

e=mc^2 is not the entire theory of relativity. It's just one equation. But yes, relativity has been demonstrated. Look up Gravity Probes A and B.

First of all, e=mc2 is not the theory of relativity.
It is the mass-energy equivalence formula and is a consequence of the theory of relativity.
That formula has been verified.

it really isn't any longer real, it really is a narrative that receives a tremendous form of interest because human beings love the actual shown truth that Einstein ought to were incorrect. particularly because it really is his maximum popular tale. there is an anecdote that arrantly proves it incorrect, in spite of the indisputable fact that the anecdote is in truth incorrect and could be discovered making use of e=mc2. desire that clears stuff up for you ^_^.

proven, by the atomic bomb.
e=mc^2 really means.....
every kilogram of mass has 90000000000m/s of energy.
they used just a couple kilograms of mass in the atomic bomb, and it was proven because about 90000000000m/s of energy was released.

As the others say: proven. But to a fundy, maybe not.
Maybe God makes the bombs go boom.
