Regular sunblock, they just need less protection from the sun so darker skinned people often don't use any.

Thinner lotions (instead of thicker creams) will spread better and look better on the skin. A tanning oil would by far look best on black skin, but the SPF is lower (usually under 15).

Good luck and have fun on your trip!!

You cannot stop skin from getting darker with Sunblock; it blocks the UV from the Sun and that's it. So, your friend will get darker, even if she uses 45 Sunblock. She can stay inside in Florida or wear long sleeve shirts, a hat with a huge trim and pants.

Sunblock isn't just for non-black people. It's for everyone. She should wear the strongest available, which I believe is 45 or 50.

Hey, all sunscreens work just the same. So any sunscreen can help her. Get a really high spf and just make sure she wears light clothing and hats. I suggest Neutrogena's new Helioplex, it's spray on and has high UVA/UVB protection, it isn't greasy and she can spray it on all day. I work for Neutrogena so I promise all sunscreens work for all types of skin colors.

Sunblocks for the blacks should be the same for the whites right? No?
