when using a laptop from a shared router,can someone download a porn site on their laptop but it can also show up on my history files and also cause unwanted pop ups to show up?

typically NOT..however , if the so called porn site is embedded with some sort of scripts then it could make it's way through all open ports to any machine connected to that laptop. If you are sharing a internet connection my advice is to make sure your firewall is turned on in your laptop and keep your anti-virus always running.

i dont actually know what your question is, i use a router for 3 computers and i cant see what the others are looking at mainly because we all have administrator privliges. if its a network (like a school) then yes, they can see everything.

nope...it will only show up on the local PC with the IP address of the computer that requested those files

no .. but if someone is doing somthing illegal it can be traced to the router ..
