It could happen, but I think the odds of randomly meeting your soulmate tomorrow are kind of like hoping to hit the lottery to get rich. I would be rediculously happy, of course! It could happen, but can you still get rich without hitting the lottery and just working really hard instead, right? My theory is that it does happen and can happen, but most people don't expect it to just "happen" and realize they if they put in alot of effort and time with someone who is less then perfect, they may be just as happy in the end.
I feel the biggest problem today is people pin too much of their hopes on dreams, and become depressed if it doesn't work out like part of a movie.
So the answer is, no. There were alot of times I thought I did, only to find out it wasn't later on. I believe that you only know for sure after you have been through some tough times together. If you both survive that, then and only then do you know.

Who was it that said that we are all angels that came down from heaven with half wings? To be able to get back to heaven, we should find the other half of our wings that matches our own. Unfotunately, this sounds a lot easier said than done. Many people spend their lifetime chasing rainbows only to find out that the ones they are looking for are right under their noses. I don't know but, on the romantic side, I'd say that when you meet someone, you get that certain connection that you feel confortable with them, that you've met somewhere before but that you can't remember. That's probably how it should feel. With other people who ad their "other half" almost all their lives, they are both lucky and cursed at the same time. Lucky because they get to spend ther lifetime with their soulmate but at the same time cursed because once the other half is gone, life will never be the same again, like suffering a stroke and losing the function of one half of the body.

when I met my "to be" wife...I knew she would be my wife before I even said a word to her...in FACT...I knew she'd be my wife by her hair alone! I hadn't even seen her face yet..and I said to a friend of mine..SHE will be my wife...he was like..HUH??? I said..if you heard that..I don't need to repeat myself..just sit back and watch..

No, I don't think so. From experience, I think it takes a little bit to get to know someone. Maybe if you are young that love at first glance, but at my age it takes time and experience, getting to know someone.
