Thought friends were suppose to say things like that, well not every time you speak but it is most likely said in a friend way. Maybe he says it to everyone and it's just some thing he says without even thinking.

I'm pretty uncomfortable as it is wen others say i love you cause i only use that 2 very few people which are mainly my family and otha then dat my bf, so yeah truly weird.

i say i love you back. i'm comfortable giving and receiving 'i love you's to all of my friends- if i wasn't, i would consider them more of an acquaintance than a friend.
