Hell no, get our borders protected or we won't have to worry about space exploration.

No, we need to understand that we are not as economically strong as we were 20-30 years ago. Also we are already billions of dollars bank-rupt. We cannot afford to tighten anything up. The people want better health, transportation, saftey, and now want the government to go green ( almost no effort/ or not enough on their part).... that just too much money.

Space exploration and research must be a top priority to look for alternative places where people can live to escape the global warming or asteroid that might fell to earth.

Would have preferred to see our government spending the same money protecting citizens from dying of so many contageous and terminal diseases/illnesses. Would appreciate if our government spend as much bringing the highest standard of education for all, and supporting unique trade-training schools catering to those with special talents, but slow in normal classrooms - all for a better tomorrow for all.

Absolutely not! Our constitution does not provide that it is legitimate for the government to confiscate money from its citizens and spend it on whatever research it deems worthy.

I'm not for gutting NASA, by the way. It has a legitimate, constitutional role in defense and commerce. Now, if NASA is willing to sublet its resources to universities who wish to explore, then I have no problem with it.
