My family and I are planing to go to Flordia for vacation. Half of us wants to spend the week at the beach and the other half wants to go to Disney World. I never really havn't been to the beach a lot in my life so I would want to go to the beach but I also want to go to D.W. If anyone has been to D.W. than please tell me if its worth going or not. And what are the best beaches in Flordia. Thanks!

It's worth going to both places. There pretty close together so you can go to both and still have time to have lots of fun. Disney World is a lot of fun so I definitely recommend going there. And for a beach close to Orlando I recommend New Smyrna Beach in Florida. Its less crowded and cleaner than Daytona. And you have to go to Typhoon Lagoon water park, http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/parks/parkLanding?id=TLLandingPage&bhcp=1. This is the best water park that i've ever been to.

Personally, I like the beaches in the Carolinas better. But Disney . . . fabulous! We were just there with our grandkids a month ago. The greatest fun there is! Hint: go to the bookstore and get a good Disney guide. Really read it - it'll help you make the most of your time. Be sure to use Park Hopper passes, and Fast Passes are a must!

I would go if you have a chance. It's definitely worth going to at least once.
