what the main bulk of the questions are focused on? I have heard rumors that over 50% of the test is from the civil war to like the depression... then there is around 40% of pre-revolution through civil war... and then 10% after depression. any truth to this?

ok so from what I understand and from what my AP teacher has been telling me it will be split up 50/50 from pre- and post- civil war. Focus on major events such as ww1 and ww2 and remember that questions will not really get into the 1980's-2000's so there is no point in studying those really.

Most likely not, since the test is changed around every year.

All I can propose is that you take a practice test, review whatever you learned and maybe get tutoring from a teacher.

Sorry if this doesn't help ( I have to take AP- English LAC)...

~I am NOT going to say I've had access to a copy of this year's exam, but I would suggest being pretty up on everything from the Marshall Plan to Watergate. I understand the examiners have decided to look to something a little more current for a change.

It's been 6 years since I took that test, but I seem to remember more than 10% on post-depression.

Just study everything.
