I don't know about liberals, but the service would lose me. I have found people here whose opinions I value, including some who call themselves liberals, but the vast majority of answers in the Political Section are just gratuitous bash fests between warring tribes and I am certainly not going to pay for that.

I would pay if we could actually debate rather than tossing out one liners that serve no purpose beyond the immediate ego stroke that one gets from them that agree.. and the hostility rush from the rest.
Like you for example... I read your questions and your answers, you are clueless, I would love to be able to actually volley with you ... but alas we are stuck answering each others quips...
