I think mommy Hilton has alot to do with the fact that Paris is liked. Did you ever watch her show on NBC? She thinks highly of her daughter Paris, and uses her Power, and influence with others to manipulate people into liking Paris. These people are not really idiots, they know they can get something out of the Hilton's if they pretend to like them. As far as the common people, they are blinded by the Hilton's wealth, and they have fallen into the celebrity trap. They think that if she can be a air head, a criminal, an immoral person, and still be liked by many, maybe shes not as bad as the media makes her look.
But as parents we must not let our innocent minded children get swayed by these unwholesome celebrities, or fooled by them. For the glitz, and the glamor, or wealth, is only what makes them look good. If my poor neighbors daughter acted like Paris, we wouldn't even want to hang around her, let alone praise her. She would be considered a bad seed. The only difference between the neighbors daughter and Paris, is the lack of money and fame. I guess to many it does matter where you come from, and what you got in the bank that defines you. This is a sad thought to me.

I agree with you. I think maybe it's because Paris Hilton is so rich (she IS a grand hotel heiress, after all) and has everything she can ever want; she can shop wherever she wants, buying all the expensive things that catch her eye; she can date whoever she wants and hang out at all the famous clubs in Miami and New York and Hollywoood and every town along the way, and these days, it's the kind of lifestyle that many, if not all, teenage girls aspire to live, not aspiring to become doctors or lawyers or authors or what have you. They look up to these so-called "women" as role models simply because they have more GLITZ and GLAMOUR than the ones they SHOULD look at as role models - parents, teachers, mentors. They seem to think her music is good (guess again!) and they don't necessarily care about the controversy behind her, laughing it off like it's some big joke, saying, "Oh, that'll never happen to me."
As for guys, they just like her blonde hair and big boobs, and they often fantasize about getting laid with her.
These young people need a serious reality check, but the question is, will Paris' jail time and lack of freedom be the thing to help them?

I don't believe she has any fans....
Read the entries here...and other places, there was even a song written for her...Paris just go away....please go away.
I wonder does she know how people make fun of her....sad really. I have not read anywhere that anyone thinks she is attractive, except the one comment on here.....and as someone else said, she probably wrote it herself...
She probably won't go to jail, they have already filed an appeal....and she will get it, no doubt.
I look forward to her growing up, maturing and using her name to help others, and I have no doubt...she will in time.

Think of it this way:
She is stupid, so it is highly likely that many of the people who are her fans are also stupid. Don't feel bad if you don't like her; if a lot of people were smarter, a lot more people wouldn't like her.

because they don't have anything better to do with their lives. also, it's like watching a bad road accident. society slows down just a little to take it in every time she does anything stupid.
