Why not both? Although my hubby and I are not much for fancy restaurants, he is the classiest man I know. Classy is an attitude, not where you go. As for the sporty? He knows all about all sports and at almost age 50, can still give our 15 year old son a tough time on the basketball court.

If I had to choose just one, I'd say the sophisticated, classy guy.
But my guy is both, mixed quite nicely! He can camp, start a "MAN" fire, protect me from bears (that's a story for another day), set up or break down the tent while I sip on a cool drink, take out the trash, swim across an olympic sized pool like a dolphin in record time with me hanging on to his neck!
But he cleans up right nicely because he looks great in a tuxedo, at the National Theatre in Prague for a ballet or opera!

Oh boy I hope you're talking about the red sox! I like a guy who can do both. Take you out to a nice restaurant AND like sports at the same time. You know...on Friday you catch a baseball or hockey game where you both heckle the other team's players and then on Saturday you both get dressed up and have a nice night out.

But in general, I like classy guys. Romance could knock you off your feet figuratively, sporty guys could knock you off your feet literally!

My husband is the best there is. He is in between. He knows about what's going on in the world of sports but doesn't watch it. If we had a back yard, I could see us playing ball or soccer or some other game.

good question but i'm gonna have to go with sporty guys better i like guys that are athletic and strong so they can protect me and if they're sporty they gotta have mustles so thats a definite yes for me!
