Full time means you work at least 40 hours a week. It doesn't matter if you work those forty hours in 4, 5, or 6 days. It's hours that determine whether someone is full time.

In most cases a full-time job is defined by the number of hours worked not the number of days. Generally, full-time is defined as 32 hours or more per week.

You can work 5 or 6 days a week and still be part-time if you only work 5 hours per day.

Some companies and actually some states consider up to 32 hours per week, does not matter in how many days to get that 32 hours Part Time.

Full time is normally considered 40 hours. But as I said companies (some companies) consider 32 or less part time and over full time. That of course does not mean if you work 1 or 2 weeks getting over the 32 hours it means 30 days straight.

Of course again that is standard normal for companies I have worked for in the past and how my brother runs his business.

It depends on the industry. Not all industries are judged by a 40 hour work week.

The railroads and other transportation industries operate based on the route. Some are 4 day, some 5 day, some 6 and yes some are 7 days a week before considered full-time. The hours do not matter as they are based on mileage regardless of how long it takes to cover those miles.
