Ello! I'm teaching a third grade class Spanish and I have to come up with a project with teaching "Me Gusta" to them. I can not come up with anything so if you have any ideas that would be wonderful :] Something that's hands-on would be the best.

Thanks a million :]

i have students use poster boards and cut out pictures in magazines of things they like. they are to glue the pics on the poster board and label them saying things like "me gusta mi libro"

they have fun and you can hang them up as a "reminder" of how to use me gusta!

Oh wow! I haven't taught Spanish in a few years, but I am a bilingual teacher (Spanish language). One thing I did when teaching "Me gusta" is have children draw or cut out pictures from magazines and paste them on a posterboard. For example, they could cut out a picture of cats, and write "Me gustan los gatos". A good extension would be to include what family and friend members like, "a mi mama le gustan los pajaros". This would emphasize the reflexive nature of the verb, as it usually confuses Spanish learners, not to mention that "a mi mama". This is a good way to teach three concepts at once, and I agree that hands-on is the way to go. Whatever you choose, buena suerte! By the way, you're teaching Spanish to third grade? I'd be interested to know if this is a foriegn language program for third graders (very uncommon) or a dual-language type of program.
