That happened to me last year.

Nope, but the day before I gave birth to my son, my sister and Mom were visiting me from Toronto (I was living in Canmore Alberta) and my sister said "Look" and out in our backyard there was a deer. We never before saw one there nor since.

Yes, I have always loved horses. I've had many of them in my yard. We have 5 of them. I love looking at them through the windows, but we are not rural, we live in the city limits. You don't have to live in the sticks to have horses, just enough land to put them on and good neighbors!

Yup, we have used our horses, goats, sheep and a pig to keep the lawn down at different times. We have deer come in and graze, all this is fine.
I draw the line when the cows escape and ruin the lawn.

not a horse because the horses in the pasture across the road have a good fence......I have; however, seen donkeys eating the grass on our front lawn---when our donkeys got out.

it happens all the time, we have a horse and a donkey. they are fenced in, but you can see them from the kitchen window. we have chickens that roam the yard too..country life is good
