Are they all in their 20's and 30's, or other ages? Shallow people will not say deep things or have meaningful lasting relationships. I am trying to estimate whether it is a generational issue or a cultural issue with most of America.

A huge majority of the people that I know are shallow people. I can't give you a number, but it's a lot of people. Most of them are younger people - in their 20's and some in their 30's - but I think they'll grow up eventually and become "deeper" people.

I don't think most people are shallow. Just because they don't show the world their inner selves doesn't mean they don't think deeply and long for more meaningful relationships. I personally think most people are good, kind and caring. Their hearts aren't touched by precisely the same things as yours but they ache all the same.

I think that everyone I know is ''Shallow" because everyone does not have the same veiw on anything and thus people think they are shallow. For example, you may not be attracted to people with tattoos and people would find that shallow.

I choose to keep away from people like that, they just irritate me. But I do know some one that is shallow (through my in laws). She is around 26 or 27 and a real snot rag!

My sister and all her friends are the most shallow people you'd ever meet...aside from Paris Hilton and other celeb airheads.

My sister and her friends are in their mid 20's
