I can't see Dirk playing like his old self in Dallas ever again. He'll let all of the playoff drama get to his head. He reminds me a lot of A-Rod and I think the Mavs need a tough guy who can take the pressure like KG.

Finally, another sensible question in weeks! I think a trade between these two big wigs is very much feasible both needs change of environment. I think after the drama with the Warriors Dirk needs a new start to shake off those dusts. Same thing with KG, the guy has been in Minnesota for tweleve long years without much ample help from the management (save the season when Latrell and Sam came to town). This guy needs help. I don't like seeing the guy retiring without a ring much like great guys such as Reggie Miller, Karl Malone, Charles Barkley and many other great guys. So yeah I think this is worth a try.

Ain't gonna happen. Dirk's not on the trading block and to match salaries, Dallas would have to trade Dirk plus another $5-$6 million player. No way would that happen. While the age difference is only two years (Dirk is 28 and KG is 30), Dirk has been improving each year; KG seemed to peak two or three years ago.

on the 2d he's definitely the excellent participant on the excellent group in the L. as a individual, hes interest has grown and more advantageous. he's scoring nicely, rebounding close to ten a interest, and averaging over 50% FG and ninety% feet. could his group proceed to play nicely and get the excellent checklist in the L, he would be the main suitable candidate to win the award. besides the undeniable fact that if his group struggles with the the rest video games, and if Dirk keeps to slip - like he did against Pho - then i think of his declare on the award will slip. could this take place, Nash would be a candidate - yet will they permit him win in thrice in a row (i doubt it), Lebron, Kobe and Duncan are additionally applicants. besides the undeniable fact that, an MVP is often a participant in a set close to the main suitable of the table in the L. and for that reason, Dirk has the nod to win the award

No, KG is too old and contract is humongous

Mavs just got unlucky and played a team they didn't match up well against. With minor changes they'll be a better team next year.

I recommend trading jason terry that 2 pg lineup stinks

They wont give up Dirk and he wont go. Dirk is to the mav what Duncan is to the Spurs.

seems good in theory but it won't happen. neither of them can get over the hump and kg's best days look to be behind him. dirk would probably do better in the east, somewhere like chicago or indiana. or maybe to sac for artest

That's a lateral move. Why do that? Dallas just let the moment slip away because of last years success. And, no They don't have what it takes to win it all. Sorry.
