In the US, where can you get golden matte gel medium? Or even just matte gel medium?

I checked in Hobby Lobby today, and when I asked a store associate where I could find it, I was lead to the TEXTILE medium. Kind of not what I'm looking for, but thanks.

I'm using it on tile, so textile medium really is in the opposite way I'm headed.

Any ideas where I can get it, other than the internet?
Also, where the heck would it be in a store?

Frustrating, frustrating, frustrating!!

"Acrylic mediums" are similar in composition but each has a different property "added to it" so it will do something-or-other better than plain acrylic. IOW, textile medium just stays more flexible and is a bit more waterproof, I think, than others... whereas some mediums make acrylic paints stay wet longer, make it glossier or more matte, or make it thicker or thinner, etc. For a tile, I'd bet you could use any of them.

At a craft store, you may want to look in the art department though, next to the tube acrylic paints. Or go to an art supply store.

If you want to read more about the differences between acrylic mediums (Golden is one brand), I've collected some info on these pages (...and you're right, it can be really confusing especially when using them for a different purpose than changing the characteristics of acrylic paint... and some of the names each brand gives them can be different too):
