I think she definatley should go to jail. Just because she is rich, been in a couple of movies, and sang a few songs doesn't mean she shouldn't go to jail for something everyone else has to go to jail for. She is human like us, not some kind of goddess.

I think she was lucky for not going till now, if she didn;t have money she would of been in jail the second time they had her ; but she;s Paris so she got 3 chances .. i did 45 days for 1 probation violation so 45 is not that bad and she;ll be in p.c.so no one can harm her....49 Seattle wa.

You know the chick from LOST Michelle Rodriguez? She went to jail for the same reason and was supposed to stay for 60 days but was released within a few hours due to "overflow of prisioners in the jail" the same will happen to Paris.

Well she's used to doing nothing all day anyway so It seems other than location, everything is the same. When she gets out at least she should have something interesting to talk about. Maybe she'll write a book called "Cool" "Not cool". and become more rich. Didn't hurt Martha much.

I think it's about time rich and famous people get treated the same way ordinary people are treated. However, I believe that the judge is trying to make an example of her and that's unfair. I think her fame has become a stumbling block. Shes' being punished for being rich and famous. Shame on that judge!

so much more attention is brought on her because shes famous. Personally I don't think she should be going to jail, if everyone wasn't on her *** all the time she wouldn't have gotten caught. I know plenty of people who drink and drive but then again they're not Paris so they don't have paparazzi following them around 24/7

In our county not only do you go to jail for drunk driving, you go to prison! When you fail your sobriety test you are arrested, put in the drunk tank and left there for 12 hours at least. The car gets towed, they watch for you all the time, to see if you are driving, after you bond out, cuz you lose your license, They have the sheriffs dept, the city police, the State police and the indians watching for drunk drivers. My son is still in jail after six months cuz his wife at the time had a ppo out on him. He answered her e-mail on computor to see his daughter and she filed a complaint with the city police, and we went to court and he broke his ppo that he'd never seen, because she said he talked to her. This is really true. On bumper stickers in Manistee county they say, Come to Manistee a visitor, leave a felon!

i was so surprised by the verdict. i think she deserves to go to jail like anyone else would, but i didnt think she would. its weird to see paris hilton in jail. She might get early release due to good behavior. who knows?
