I tried to burn a DVD but it wouldnt let me because the DMA wasnt on. How do I turn it on?

In 'Control Panel' under 'System' 'Hardware devices' look under ATA section, then look through the Primary/secondary devices settings, anything you see in PIO, change it to UDMA, restart PC

Right click your My Computer icon and click 'manage'. Go to Services and search the bar for the DMA. and right click on it. Click start and try again.

Before checking Control Panel, make sure that the controller is not set to PIO Only within the BIOS.
