To answer your question, I will assume you mean high school graduates who go directly to college, not say, begin college 5 years after graduation.

In 2004, approximately 67% of high school graduates enrolled directly in a 2 or 4 year college or university.

In 2003 the number was at about 64%.

I've included the cites as well as a chart that tracks the historical data on high school graduate to college enrollment.
