You need to buy a brace that supports your ankle. Try to avoid rolling it as you walk. Ice it 30-45 minutes a day and it should reduce the pain.

Tingling isn't a normal symptom associated with tendonitis. Definitely see you doctor about this. It could be something more serious like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

If it is tendonitis, then the acronym PRICE works well.

P = protection, as in a splint or brace.
R = rest, try to avoid using that hand/wrist as much as possible
I = Ice. 10-15 minutes a time
C = Compression, with the ice,w rap with an ace bandage
E = elevation, elevate the body part above the level of the heart.

Also try taking a good over-the-counter NSAID (Alieve, Advil, etc) as per the label on the bottle.

Have you seen a doctor? Are you sure it is tendonitis? If so, tell your doctor how it feels, maybe you can get a brace for your wrist or he can give you exercises to do at home to help.

I have chronic tendonitis and my left Achilles and I do ice, stretching and Excedirn but there's really no way to "cure" it. I've learned to live with it since I injured it in 1998.

Good luck and I hope you feel better!

You need to immobilize your hand, ice not heat, and take a anti-inflammitory drug, likt Motrin or Ibuprophen
