Terrestrial planets are rocky planets (Terra - Earth - like) including Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. Jovian (Jupiter) planets are the gas giants, including Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

There are dwarf planets like Eros and Pluto, and the extrasolar planets, but they are a whole different issue.
