Usually places like Dunkin Donuts or McDonald's don't hire until 16 because it's too much of a hassle to get a work permit, and even when you do get one, your hours are very restricted, so it's almost not worth it. Small, local businesses may hire, though; that's often the case in my town.

Now-a-days, the number one place is probably McDonald's. Then there are the old stand-bys, delivering newspapers, mowing lawns, etc. Also, a lot of stores in malls, etc., will hire a 15-year-old as a clerk, checker, etc.
Good luck!
