I almost fell asleep while driving through the Carolina's. I was driving from CT to FL and it felt like a piece of cake once I entered North Carolina. Those two states are the most boring states to drive through. All I saw was trees on both sides of the highway and that's why I almost fell asleep.

i take two meds for hypertension and within a hours after taking it im barely able to function. i suppose to take it in the morning time but if i do i will be useless at work so i usually take it about two hours before i go home. lets just say i got with three blocks from my house and fell asleep and ran into 4 mailboxes including my own f-ing up the front and driver side of my car. needless to say my neighbors weren't happy and i need not tell you what i had to do the next day!!!

THIS is sometimes a sign of sleep apnea, a very serious condition that requires medical treatment.

How do I know? I've had sleep apnea my entire life, and had a tracheostomy (hole in my throat with a plastic tube inserted) for almost three years. Obesity makes this condition worse. If you snore extremely loudly, this is another sign. Seek medical help at once.

I've never actually fallen asleep but been dangerously close. I try not to be in those situations anymore......just as bad as drunk driving, you are not fully aware of things on the road
