why is it when i try to connect to the yahoo game room does it not connect?

It won't connect for several reasons.

If you're using Internet Explorer, you should have no problem, but make sure your javascript is enabled and you're accepting cookies. Also make sure your browser isn't blocking pop-up's from Yahoo. Firefox will block pop-up's from just about any website so you have to allow it to let the popup's come through.
