Driving a good car on nice roads has always been a nice feature of life to me, what does this represent to you?

It all depends. Driving to work - it doesn't matter what I'm driving, it sucks. There is traffic and people darting in and out of traffic and you have to go slow and it just sucks.

On the other hand, when I'm on the open highway and there are no cars around, its great.

Taking my 67 Chevelle out is a blast, because, obviously, I don't drive that in traffic and only driving in nice weather, so its purely pleasure driving.

Also, when I take my 4x4 off road, that is fun too. No traffic (obviously) and its a challenge for me and my 4x4 to get over, around, or through whatever the obstacles are off road.

I've not yet been fotunate enough to own a good car, and the roads in my town can hardly be referred to as nice, but I do enjoy driving a lot. Back in college, I had to drive halfway across the country to go home to see my family, and I always looked forward to the time in the car to drive, crank up my music, sing at the top of my lungs, and be alone with my thoughts. I was always completely relaxed by the time I hit the east coast.

To me, driving my car is my theorpy.
After a hard week at work, I like nothing better then just getting behind the wheel of my car and finding some twisty roads and pushing my car, feeling the G's, and the tugs on the steering wheel as the tires grip, slide, push and pull slightly.
A nice long drive is always good for helpign me clear my thoughts and relieving stress.
Listening to the engine pur while crusing and snarling when I give it the gas...it always puts a smile on my face.
When it's just me, my car, and the road, I'm in heaven, and nothing can ruin that for me.

Freedom of the open roads. Like in the movie, Easy Rider, where Billy and Capt. America travel across the US and meet all kinds of people (good and bad), I get a joyous feeling whenever I'm behind the wheel of my car. It doesn't even matter if I'm just going across town for a pack of cigarettes, the joy is still there. Just knowing that I control this two ton steel monster is an incredible aphrodisiac!

Joy..... running over people gives me much joy!!! J/K .....Driving gets old fast..... it depends on the car, thats why Americans trade in and buy different vehicles often, we get bored of them. Like I said it depends on the vehicles..... new cars do nothing for me..... we have 3 new, all within 5 years old or newer...big deal.... but I bought a 50's Classic... now to me that is fun to drive an old vehicle like that, joy for me.... :)

I just bought a Shelby GT so I really do enjoy driving it anywhere. Reminds me of when I was a kid, still feel the rush when I climb behind the wheel and fire it up. Get a "chubby" every time.

Very expensive but reusable Viagra!
