For science class, I need to make some sort of rig that will throw a playing card. Anyone know how a really simple way to do this would be?

"Mythbusters" made a card launcher in one episode using two horizontal rotating wheels that were spaced apart with only a very small gap in-between. I suppose that you could use a single motor to rotate them both (so that they turn at the same speed) by using a belt and/or gears.

hmmm... Try designing a rig that uses a wheel. When you put the cards under it the wheel will launch the cards when you put it on them and it's going fast enough. I'm sure you can build something like that out of K'nexs
