dinner-im in the usa,in texas but i was raised in denver colorado-alot of people out here say supper and it drives me up the wall!!!!

I'm from Chicago. I call it dinner. My dad says "supper" and it drives me nuts!
edit: I looked it up... supper (n) 1. the evening meal, often the principal meal of the day.
2. any light evening meal, esp. one taken late in the evening
dinner (n) 1. the main meal of the day, eaten in the evening or at midday.
2. a formal meal in honor of some person or occasion.
I don't care... I'm still calling it dinner, lol

I call it either supper or dinner but i usually use supper and in Iowa where my extended family lives, only calls lunch dinner and the ending meal supper, I'm from NW Indiana
