oh my god! Tell your counselor at school about this. This is not right she is still trying to keep you as a baby, but at this age it's wrong. I think being a single parent she is scared to let you grow up because she'll be alone. she needs to find herself a man and I bet she'd lighten up. If your a boy that makes it a lot worse! It makes it sick!

The over protective vibe is fine. I can see the movies and the front yard. But the bathing is odd. At about eight years old most people get privacy in the bathtub.

no, that's not nomal, maybe the movie part and the bed time.... but the not allowed in the front yard, or the watching you take a bath, that is sick and twisted... you need to tell your mom to back off a bit... you're not 2 years old anymore, you're 14!

That is normal...IF YOU ARE 5! This is not normal and I think your mother is mentally disturbed, you should tell another responsible adult like a school official or an aunt. She cannot isolate you from the world, because if she treats you like this it is going to mentally ruin you for the rest of your life.

Its normal for her to be a little over protective on you. I think washing your hair and taking a SHOWER it sometime that you should do. When it comes time, you can ask her if you can try doing it for yourself once. You need to be a little more independant =)

No it is NOT normal. Explain to her that you are responsible & mature and that you can bathe yourself & that a PG 13 movie will not be hazardous to your health. Also tell her that you need your space.

Sounds like MY mom.......
She just loves you and wants what's best.
Appreciate and marvel at it while you can. You'll probably find yourself doing the exact same thing when you're a parent too...
just kidding, Maybe you can try talking to her and explaining how you feel?
