Just a few blocks. Sometimes it sounds like its in the backyard lol.

5 to 6 miles now. Growing up, lived half a block from an upgrade north of Detroit. Still sleep like a baby when I'm near train tracks.

The old "turn around tracks" are less than one city block away. But, the line has not been used in the last 12 years or so except for hiking trails.

Well my neighbor and his wife talked about pulling a train..but I didn't hear anything.
So I guess the closest train track would be 6 miles.

The station is four blocks, but I only hear the trains faintly when it's quiet.

amtrack station about a mile to the north. freight trains run on the same tracks.
