The rest of the world for the most part does not like us. Our biggest supporters the British are going to leave Iraq. That leaves us exactly 0 allies in this war for the most part.

If not for the war, because that is all he will ever be known for, not his ridiculous tax cuts that everyone cheers about but don't think long term effect of them..duhh. His no child left behind program that punishes schools for not getting the grades, yeah that is great, make it worse. By the way that program failed miserably in Texas, just FYI. This guy is a joke. He is a greedy SOB that should be put on trial for crimes against the nation, mainly that of treason in my eyes.

If he were so great, then why doesn't he do things to stop the corruption? He has control over that, these are people he appoints that are corrupt.

I didn't and never in my lifetime would ever vote for someone like him or anyone connected with his administration. I have a really hard time when people praise him, I really do. Do they just turn a blind eye to his screw ups or what?

I am afraid I know nothing about American Politics. I find it all very confusing, it appears that they are not united but he is President. Unfortunately we seem to be going the same way, I have not met anyone who seems to have voted for Tony Blair yet he was our Prime Minister for such a long time. So how did Tony Blair get to be our Prime Minister and how did President Bush get to be President? Neither of them seems to have taken any notice once in power of anyone else, even their own parties. I really do not understand, sorry.

France just elected a president who is described as a "Bush Conservative" and a staunch supporter of the US. I didn't need to know that you didn't vote for President Bush (secret ballots are secret for a reason). But I do know that he was elected twice in this country.

At teh outset of his administration he was doing fantastic.

Income tax cuts (for all not just for the rich), Estate tax cuts, No Child Left Behind, handled the 9/11 situation very well, far better than I can imagine a Gore or Kerry doing. Medical savings account pushes.

I have been quite disappointed in his near totally absence on the immigration problems we face.
And there have been other mistakes. But I cant imagine anyone the dems have put forward in that period doing as well. I wish some things had happened a bit differently.
But overall he hasnt been bad.

I have no problems with the United States or the American people, it's just that I can't stand Bush. Saying that, I can't stand Blair either.

Basically, Bush has transformed what was the most generous open minded country in the world, into the biggest military industrial complex on the planet. We have gone from being a big teddy bear, to a big monster that bombs innocent people in sovereign nations. Bush is a Zionist pig.

i did vote for him. HE is an excellent president. The reason you hate him is because he came in a time of crisis. The peopel need someone to blame right? he is brilliant. he knows what he is doing, i am glad he is our president. i also have something to say about the war. here is a little history lesson. You know why we lost the Vietnem war? we lost because of the US citizens, not because of our military. The leader of Vietnam said to one of our prisoners : "we will win the war in the streets of New York" he meant all the protestors would eventually get their way. he exposed our only weakness: public support. and now, that is what iraq is doing, so just hold on, war is not won by one person like we are used to seeing in video games and movies

I am not sure of the pretext of the question nor the fixation with President Bush. That being said, most people around the world would love to come to the US for a visit and quite a few to stay. I know quite a few foreign born wives who go home to their homeland for a visit and listen to the people there and come back saying they would never live in their homeland again.

It is easy to listen to the detractors, but as Charles Caleb Colton, once said, Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. As long as they want to come here – ignore what they say.
