Depends on what all you're using, but i'll just tell you about everything.
Concealer/foundation: first make a few dots in every area of your face then use a sponge to rub them in. Be sure to rub it into your jawline for a seamless transition from face to neck. Then cover your face and neck with either a matching or a trasclusent powder.
Eye shadow: using a brush/wand smooth the shadow onto your lids from your lash line to your crease. Remember less is morer. If your wanting to try something special, like smokey eyes, cats eyes, emo, or whatever, just click my avatar and email me for specifics I'm more than happy to help!
Eyeliner: To apply on the top lash line, hold the out side corner of your top lid and pull so your lash line makes a straight line, hold the pencil/liquid as close to your lash line as possible and apply a thick even line. For the bottom, just apply the desired amount along the lash line.
Lashes: to curl your lashes, hold your eyelash curler under a hair dryer for just a few seconds, it gets hot FAST! And carefully curl. Apply your mascara to top and bottom lashes.
Blush: Once again, less is more. Smile!!! Starting on the apple of your cheek pull upward in a sweeping motion towards your temple.
Lips: First, exfoliate with a wet wash cloth and apply some lip balm. Carefully line your lips and apply lipstick, removing the excess with a tissue, or just go for some gloss.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

~I usually do eyeshadow first..And i usually choose the colors according to what im wearing that day. I usually put the lighter color first over my entire lid (dont put too much tho). Next next to the darkest color over your entire lid only..If you want something dramatic for a nite out, use a black shadow at the crease..but make sure u blend it really well!!
~Next, I'll apply liquid liner..( I choose liquid cuz it does smudge like pencil)..It might take alittle practice but stretch your eyes out with you middle/index finger and draw a thin line right above the lashes. If u mess up, just use a wet cotton swab to straighten the line. it'll look natural if you draw the line just slightly past the corner of your eyes.
~apply curl your eyelashes and apply mascara..The best one that curls and lengthens without too much clumps and smudges..try MAX FACTOR(waterproof mascara) in black..hope this helps..=)

I would recommend going to your local dept store and getting a free makeup consultation. Sephora is also a great place to go to since there is a variety of makeup, and they help you with skincare preparation for makeup.
