are the holes visible w/ no ring in it?
if i take it out right away (like if i dont like it) will it close up and heal perfect?
do people think theyre attractive?
also any bad stories about gross scars or parents finding out and getting pissed would be great

When I was 17, my friend pierced my belly button too. Wow you're literally asking all the same questions I was! I remember it clearly. She had pierced hers and I LOVED it so I wanted her to do mine. And she had done many piercings before, just like your friend. So she pierces it (OUCH!!!!!!!!! If you're really going to do this get it done PROFESSIONALLY!) and it hurts realy bad for a few days.
The next week, we went to the beach (my mom, dad, brother, and I). I took out the belly button ring, expecting my mom wouldn't noticed. It had been pretty cold lately so I hadn't looked at it cause I had been wearing long shirts and whatnot. Well....I was in my swimsuit laying on my towel, when my mom noticed the piercing. "Honey what IS that?!?" I had no clue what she was talking about. I looked down and saw the piercing had filled with crusty dried pus and blood and semomething green.. And A VERY FOUL ODOR was coming out of it. Let's just say, i got grounded for 4 months.

Do NOT LET YOUR FRIEND PIERCE IT WITHOUT ASKING, AND IF YOU ARE ALLOWED TO DGET IT DONE PROFFESSIONALLY (moral of the story^^)

properly I submit to in recommendations even as i became your age and needed my abdomen button finished so undesirable yet then win i in my opinion were given it, it wasn't that tremendous and exciting anymore. So earlier you get it make effective you quite like it because once you're taking it out it each and every each and every now and then leaves a grotesque scar. anyhow on that note i'd not enable my buddy do this no count how good she did together with your ears! Your abdomen button can very honestly get contaminated esp once you're letting your buddy do it without a kit needle and the right aspects for piercing. and persons have died from it. it ought to reason you to get sick and stuff and if it receives contaminated it really is gonna leave a scar and all that stuff it really is merely no longer properly worth it believe me. So i ought to attend somewhat longer because you are able to imagine on it some and by then with any luck you are able to get it finished professionally. I distinctly recomend no longer getting your abdomen pierced by a buddy. i'm no longer antagonistic to self piercing yet this one is one you should leave on my own.

No - don't do it. You could end up w/ a really bad scar if you don't like it. Then you'll have to always worry about covering up a scar or mark.

Plus, belly button piercings look a little tough & scary - so you need to commit to it. For example, it doesn't work well w/ a cute, feminine bikini or tankini.

NO you should not let her. It may be sterile but it doesn't always stay that way. It will never heal perfectly there will always be a scar. If you want it done that bad, ask your parents permission and get it professionally done. You won't get in trouble that way.

i wouldn't suggest it, my friends who did it when we were younger have ugly scars from it now and when they go to get it redone they either have to go through the pain of then shoving a needle through scar tissue or have it not be strait. there are a number of things that could go wrong but my suggestion to you is to let your parents know this is something you want to do and don't wine when they say no, let then explain why they don't want you to ask if you can get it done soon and if there is anything you can do to prove yourself responsible enough to have it done and earn the money to get it done. it will be nice not to have to hide it from them. i would also suggest even if you decide to let your friend do it to wait until summer is over. it takes 6-8 weeks for it to heal over and having to hide that over the summer would be very very hard. hope this helps!

> Should i let my friend pierce my belly button?
No. Never get a permanent mutilation for the sake of what might be a temporary fad. You wouldn't want to be sewed into your mother's 70s disco dress, would you?

> do people think theyre attractive?
NO.

No. You could get a serious or deadly infection.

Wait until you are older. You will probably out grow this piercing thing any way.
