yet they want to blame democrats for the country's ills after only three months of control in congress. How did the dems manage to screw up the country so quickly or is the blame game in full force by the republicans?

Well, according to the Dems, Americans gave them a "mandate" (which in liberal-speak means carte blanche to do anything you want) after the November 2006 elections. They almost uniformly ran on a platform of "fixing" the situation in Iraq, which the vast majority thought would be a good idea.
When pressed about their plan and strategy for the Iraq prior to and immediately following the elections, the Dems said they were working on it.
Well, after they finally stopped congratulating themselves and patting themselves on the back (which was around February sometime) for their huge November wins, they finally unveiled their complex and well thought out plan for Iraq......surrender, give up, go home.
Thanks A Holes! Any 5th grader could have come up with THAT little gem! Thats what the American people get for putting their trust in ANY politicians (Dem & Repub both).
Once again the American public is watching and getting screwed while Congress sends surrender paperwork loaded with pork spending attachments for Presidential signature.
Disgusting to say the least.
Also, you make mention of how the Republicans had control of Congress for 11 years, and the Presidency for 6+ years.
People either forget or don't seem to know that the Dems had control of BOTH houses of Congress from 1933-45 and 1954-1994 and a Democratic President has been in office for 40 of the 74 years covering 1933-2007.
So why aren't we living in a Utopian paradise?

After 2 years of Democrats controlling the two Congress and the Senate and 3 months of a Democrat president we've had a financial disaster. A recession. Unemployment on the edge of double digits. The national debt has been doubled in 3 months. Obama's deficit spending is extra suitable than that of all previous presidents blended. The Dow is down 6000 factors considering his election. we've become so vulnerable militarily that the French military is the only one doing something on the subject of the pirates. on the day N. Korea fired a missle and Iran stated they have been enriching uranium for weapons Obama stated we would unilaterally disarm and the investment for missle protection became decrease from the militia funds. Obama bowed to a Saudi king. Obama stated that he could have a ethical administration yet nominated somebody to treasury secretary who's a serial tax cheat and did not be conscious of that he could not declare his young ones summer time camp as a employer cost! He signed an govt order asserting that there could be no lobbiests in his administration and before the ink became dry he lifted the order for 2 lobbiests to connect his administration. considering then he has lifted it lots of circumstances I easily have lost music. So is this what we get from the occasion of expert Communists and hate united statesa. first after purely 2 years?!

Anyone old enough to remember how fast we got the hostages back from Iran when Reagan was inaugurated? it was the next day
well after 12 years of republican presidents
clinton got elected and trashed the military and
the intelligence community
leaving us vulnerable again- 9/11
in spite of that the economy is great
unemployment is at an all time low
we have some immigration problems (also Clinton to thank for that)
and the war on terror
well guess what they are not going to go away
they will just come after us at home if we leave.
so let the boys deal with it they are the pros ,they are on the scene.
they can do it if we don't tie their hands

whos blaming them for all our ills?

I do blame the leadership for their hypocrisy, and never having a position on anything unless its the opposite of republicans, again -unless- its if it would be so unpopular to do so it would be political suicide.

What happens then is they vote with them ( Iraq war ) knowing that if they get an opportunity they can deny they did it later or come up with some excuse like they were tricked (hillary), and deny they said the things that they said (hillary, kerry, kennedy, .. the whole leadership pretty much )

I am nto going to say they screwed everything up in a few months.. I have complete confidence that they will screw things up in good time though.

Which ills are those?

They have not screwed up anything yet. They have given the enemy new hope.

I'd thought you would be hammering your dems for not doing ANYTHING yet in Congress. Oh yeah politicizing troop funding.. good one there...

Checkers: ROFLMAO the dems rule the blame game. Remember how you blamed everything you could on losing the elections in 00 02 and 04. Then in 06 you win one and everything was OK. Did the repubs come out and blame everything and anyone on the loss? No. They blamed themselves and we are now searching for our soul that we lost on the way to where we are at now. Blame Game on repubs. You libs kill me....

it's all the same... left right, Unfortunately for us Americans in this very stressful time we don't have much to look forward to... true states people never get a shot, Ron Paul is too radical, Dennis Kucinich looks funny? But Mit Romney Looks presidential and Hillary Clinton is a shoe in with every democrat ( if you believe the supposedly liberal media) it just sucks.. plain and simple..

it's all bread and circus for us here and nothing else... he Central Banks are in charge, and ultimately the Families that have been running things in the west are finally starting to make real progress in the east.. Iran and North Korea being the exception.. guess what, no central banks there? Hmm... connection?

Everyone has an agenda. This is naturally going to be a blame game on both sides.

It's the blame game, full force. Everyone knows that is how the republicans work.

Are you serious? Under Bill Clinton, the United States enjoyed eight (8) years of peace and prosperity.

Neither of which existed under either Bush.
