Math is the language of physics. So you need to know how to speak math to do physics. But if you love physics the language of math will be easy to learn.

It really depends. If you are mathematically minded, then Maths will be easier. Even though A level physics involves a lot of maths, if you have the knack for remembering facts and reasoning why things happen in a physical sence, then A level Physics may be easier for you.

When i started my A-Levels I studied both Maths and Physics. After 6 weeks I dropped Physics.

I've always found maths easier and a lot more interesting. Also there are probably more uses for a Maths qualification than a Physics qualification.

Mathematics can be split into two branches, Pure and Applied. At A Level in Mathematics you will probably do more Pure than Applied, but in Physics most of the Mathematics is Applied.

Applied Mathematics is notoriously more difficult than Pure Mathematics, so the Mathematics in Physics will generally seem to be more difficult than the Mathematics in Mathematics.

But in Mathematics it's all Mathematics, where in Physics it isn't. So it's swings and roundabouts really, but in Physics the Applied Mathematics is a classic pitfall.

My advice, GCSE Mathematics should be a pre-requisite for A Level Mathematics & Physics.

It depends on what kind of math or physics you are doing. For math if you are doing anything simple like area, pi, etc. then it is easy. In physics there are easy things too. So, if you no what kind of math or physics then you can determine if it will be easier or not for you.

It really depends on you like it or not.

From my personal point of view, Math seems to be easier than Physics at A-level.

If you are good at Physics, then generally you are good at Math too. But the opposite is not true.

it depends on yourself. Some people found that math is easier but other people think that physics is easier because they can apply those theory in the real life.

Both compliment one another and neither is boring if you get into it. I found maths the more difficult of the two but they were nothing compared to engineering science which about screwed my brain at school.

Easier for whom? Some people are very good at abstract symbol manipulation, others think better with a wrench or a soldering iron in their hands.
