Thanks, do you know were there are going to ship their product, to Greece generally or straight to my house? If they ship it to the custom and I mark it as a gift will I pay? Thanks

1. It depends how you sent it. UPS, for example, brings it to your door. The greek post does too, unless the item is too big, so they keep it in the post office and leave you a small note saying that you have to go pick it up.
2. However, if the item looks valuable and comes from outside the E.U., it will be probably be held at customs, and you either go there and go through a tiring procedure and pay the fees, or you ask the company (post or UPS) to do the procedure for you and pay, but then you may pay them a bit more for doing this for you.
3. If it is a small thing and it has no invoice (e.g. you write gift) you may skip the customs, but it's not certain. For example, i alwasy buy ties from the internet, from the US, and they come folded in small envelopes with no invoice on them. I never had to pay taxes. But when I bought a big parcel, even though it was cheap, I had to pay.

if it is by post the shipment will go to the post office and they will contact you to collect it
if it is by courier(dhl, ups, tnt, acs, aramex) they will deliver it to your door
if the parcel is from EU you will not pay anything
if it is from other country: you will pay vat and customs (gift or no gift)
