GPA calculation, hours vs average?

Question

Trying to figure out what I have to do grades to get GPA up to 2.5

I have a cumulative average GPA of 2.448 sitting at 58 hours.

I am currently taking 14 hours ( four classes )

What GPA do I have to make in these four classes to get my GPA to 2.5?

*** I also have another 3 credits coming in from a community college. This is 3 hours, and an A. This needs to be included.

First of all, double check about your community college course being factored into your GPA. In my experience, the credits have always transferred, but not the grades.

If your community college A does transfer, you need a 2.394 GPA this semester. If the A does not transfer, you need a 2.7154 this semester to get a 2.5. Good luck!
